The Old West 3 - La fièvre de l'or

Avec mon frère, on s'était promis de partir tous les deux dans le sud un jour, mais je suis parti tout seul. Ma mère est allé habiter chez sa soeur, elle y est toujours. Et un beau matin, j'ai entendu dire qu'il y a avait de l'or en Californie. Tout le monde s'est rué là bas et j'ai fait pareil! Mais  quand la Californie est devenue un état, la petite ville de San Francisco a grossi d'un coup et ça m'a pas plus tout ce monde...je suis parti...

With my brother, we wanted to go south. I was alone and left my mother with her sister. Now, one morning, I heard they found gold in California, I run out there! But when California became a state, the tiny hamlet of San francisco grew to a boomtown...didn't like it so I left...

Old West is looking great, nice progress. I like the way you are also telling a story about it as you go along.

Loved seeing all the new stash you got in your earlier post, what a lot of goodies. I got some of the new LHN/CCN ones as well recently. I'm hoping to start the Schoolgirl Lessons next weekend. Spoolg looks like he was having a lot of fun helping to sort the flosses, he's a cutie.
